I had never had a traditional made for me before, do Bunmi patiently walked me through the entire process. Abbie Mimiko: Hey sweetie! I'm sure you can't hear this enough (and you shouldn't)- you have the loveliest family! I'm just now visiting your new site and felt compelled to give a shout out. My mom is very familiar with your family, which isn't surprising as Ondo folks invented the phrase "six degrees of separation". When I told her what you did for me, she blessed you (I'm SURE it was a blessing) in Ondo and called you "omo mi" lol I think it was about 2 years ago, I contacted you for clothing materials for a new outfit- without even meeting me, you had me send my measurements and had I believe, two outfits made. One of the outfits was mistakenly sent to my old address because I had two addresses in paypal- and when I told you it was lost, you immediately had another outfit made and insisted I not pay for it again. I'm not sure if you do this for all your customers but I was VERY IMPRESSED in addition to feeling fortunate to meet a soul like yours. I often feel bad that I'm not huge on Naija functions and don't have a lot of Nigerian friends because I would love to send everybody and their mama to you for materials and outfits! I still haven't worn the outfits, I guess I'm saving them for a Naija function (whenever that happens). My son suggested I wear one of them to work last year, for Halloween as an "African Princess"- He's a silly kid. Thank you girl! I got all my fabric on time and it is LOVELY! My tailor can't sew it in time for the wedding because she sucks! So if you know anyone that knows a tailor in NY, NJ please hit me with digits. I need to find a new tailor because this one takes my money and NEVER comes through.
